First Day's Work

This past weekend, two members of our group, Yutaek Oh and Jameson Cronin, went with our mentor, Baxter Ferguson, to check out the Bronco and figure out the primary problems with it. We found that the car does not start at all, so our first plan of action is to buy a starter and install it. Once we have this starter and get the car to run, we will see what the mechanical problems are with it. We also are buying a new battery for the car. We later reviewed the interior and have decided that we are going to strip out the carpet and power wash the interior. We are going to put a new stereo in, as well as a new mirror and dashboard. So far, we stripped out both the passenger and driver seats, and to get the back seat out, we need to get a breaker bar to create more leverage to get it out. Overall, we had a reasonably productive day and it was good to finally get going on fixing this car. Here are some photos from our day:
